Night Time

Night Time is a large multi-screen work conceived for Concrete and Glass 2010 which takes the viewer on a journey through different cities at night. Individual cities are all filmed over a single night giving the piece a unity of purpose and feel. The installation aims to explore personalized visions of the city in a stylized, atmospheric manner utilizing cinematic technique to the fullest, and creating a colourful, surreal collage of images set to a specially composed piece of music by composer Ned Bigham that together brings the cityscapes to life in a dynamic, multi-facetted way. The cities include Tokyo (seen here), London, Johannesburg, and Beirut.
